I periodically hear mumblings about the difficulties of finding a VFP friendly ISP. So I am thinking of being a VFP friendly ISP. I have 6 (maybe 12?) static IP's on a 1500/250 DSL connection. I am already hosting a dedicated box for Mike Helland, I need 1 for the router, 3 for me, which leaves 1 available IP. How many people would like to share the remaining IP? I am not holding out to being an expert user admin, but I think we can figure out what to do about that if the need arises. First I need to have some users to admin. Or figure out how to use the other 6, and then just pile up the box's.

I am not offering any remarkable uptime statistics or monster bandwidth, but I am not planning on making any money off of this either. The cost of the connection is about $500 setup, and $90 a month. (And about 10 hours of phone headache.) I gave Mike a p-200/40meg box. He will be bringing me a new one in a few weeks (I wonder why.) Depending on what kind of response I get will drive how big a box I setup, and what other recourses I am willing to provide (bigger UPS, better backup, etc.)
