Everybody has been helping me out to get started with my first
VFP 5.0 app (I'm a FPW 2.6 vet), and then my client said they want
it to link to MS SQL Server. I've received tremendous help and
direction from everyone on the group, and I'm heading in the
right direction, but I still "run into" some small questions that
I can't seem to get an answer from any books. The question at hand
is a memo field. For the entry of requistion line items in my app
the user needs a space for description. They need unlimited space,
since most of the times they cut and paste from WordPerfect two or
three pages that becomes the description. So far I'm using a memo
field and it works fine. But I have received advice that I should
stay away from them when going to SQL Server. But I have no idea
what to go to. I have though of something crazy: creating a form
with 20 or 30 sixty character text boxes so it looks like a edit
region and then concat them together to stick in a SQL Server
field. But I think this will kill the cut and paste ability. With
my limited knowledge in this area, I'm coming up with some weird ideas !!!!! Save me from my wacky ideas, please !!!!

Thanks in advance for your help !!!!!
