I do not think it will help unless the problem is somewhere in ODBC driver, though you can try. In addition, this will gove you little help if problem is there because views still use shared connection. Let me know if you have any successful results. I did not met such situations, though if you need, I can give tips how to dig out the problem in acceptable amount of time.
