Anyway, the new version is fantastic, lots of wizards, builders etc. I have created an application using the wizard, but now I would like to modify it. In particular I would like to add some initialization stuff to the beginning of the application. What is the best way to do this ? I was thinking of modifying the xxx_app.prg code to do what I want, which I am sure is possible, but is it the best thing to be doing?

Michael;

My own approach to wizards is to NEVER use one. This is the advice I have given since the first wizard became available in dBaseII. Attempting to modify the code later can be a nightmare. Using a commercial framework is the direction I took after spending several hundred hours developing my own. You may well spend too many hours trying to modify wizard code and then end up with spaghetti code. When you create your next application and want to modify or increase functionality you will have a serious problem.
