>Very well, how's this?: Since the future of VFP depends on people upgrading to VFP 7 and/or MSDN, if not enough people upgrade, VFP's future is in doubt.
Here is what I got from Ken's statements:
The amount of VFP7 upgrades will have a direct impact on future releases of VFP, including the features that are including in each version, who those features will target, how often service packs will be, how long product cycles will be, how much is spent on future marketing, how well the website is maintained, how much involvement the Fox Team will have with the community, how much support Microsoft will be able to lend Fox conference promoters, fox book publishers.. ect. ect.
Claiming that VFP's future is only as complex as "wether or not a new version will be released" is a pretty small picture idea.
