I need to distribute the Crystl32.ocx Crystal reports 8 OCX control along with my app's files. According to the CR documentation there's a group of files I need to distribute with the OCX so it can work well, two of which are MFC42.DLL and MSVCIRT.DLL My app is a VFP 6.0 one so I thought it would be a good idea to prepare a single setup including both my app's files and Crystal Reports ones. The problem is that when I run the setup program I get an error saying it is not possible to update the MSVCIRT.DLL file because it is in use. I have asked some people about this and they have told me this DLLs are used by the operating system (Windows NT workstation 4.0).
Is there any special way to update these files or am I configuring something the wrong way? Should I use another Installation program rather than VFP's Setup Wizard? (I have been told Install Shield performs well).
