I have a date textbox in VFP 7 form.

When user mistakenly enters a date 01/01/1600 into textbox, a vfp error

Date/DateTime evaluated to an invalid value

occurs. After that, program exits: if I choose in Ignore in error handler, next
line after READ EVENTS is executed.

This behaviour is not afftected by SET STRICTDATE

Is it possible to enter dates from VFP 7 so that program will not exit ?
