We are working on a process -
were Job tracking is gathered into a Database on two locations
a RISC 6000 and a Pentium by way of Screen Scraping !
I've never heard it called HLLAPI - maybe talking about something diff.
We have hand scanners send information about jobs from workstations
to the data storage areas - the screen scraping is a VFP Form
with field verification enforcement. The "Firewall" lets the user
know that certain scanned info is incorrect (on err condition).
We are developing in Clipper5 for actual data movement.
