In VFP main menu click TOOLS+OPTIONS then click the CONTROLS tab and check the activeX checkbox. scroll down the list until you see "Microsoft communications control". Make sure it is checked and click ok or "save as default". Then in your form controls toolbar click on the books and select activex controls, which will display all controls checked in the options form mentioned above.
