>What's the deal with the grid control sources?

>There is a control source for a grid column, and there is a control source for the control within the column. Does one supercede the other, and what is supposed to happen when both are assigned, or if the grid's record source is different than the control sources?

If the column is controlsource is bound, then any control in that column will use that controlsource. If it's not bound, then you set the controlsource in the textbox, checkbox, whatever.

Why have both? I haven't had occassion to do this but I can see that a column might have two object, a textbox and a checkbox, say. Each could use a different controlsource (or one might not have a controlsource).

Does that help?
