I'm starting to feel the same way, but some of the technologies
coming out are too compelling not to play with and check out. That
way I'm ready to use them efficiently by time they are released for
real.

Reinstalling a system isn't the end of the world either. Granted it
took a whole day plus a few hours off the next couple spent reinstalling
or configuring things that you take for granted. But it's a small price
to pay for the benefits of starting clean every once in a while...
