Thanks for the comment about print direction on the page. Re-setting this enables the float and other features. Is this docucmented? However, the STRETCH problem still remains. I have removed all objects from my label except a memo called NOTES. It does not stretch although set to do so. Ive emailed a copy of a simple data file with one memo (NOTES) together with the offending report in case you have time to check this.
