Suggestion for you...

I have done this before using the dos based utility which used to come with DOS 6.1 & others MSD.exe

It has a couple of command line parameters, one of them is silent and the other outputs to a specified file

The new version of this is called WinMSD but I don't know if this has the same command line parameters

You can put this into a login script and get it to write the file out to a specific folder with the users login name

>I need some major help on this one. My boss has given me the task of remotely auditing our local network workstations. I've designed a small app in vb that would audit the machine I installed it on about 2 years back. Unfortunately though, I have no idea how to get the info from a remote machine via ip to my workstation, or one of our servers.
