>I have a group of 4 seeks. The second seek is firing the record Validation rule on my table. Has anyone ran into this? How to I prevent this from happenning. I changed it to indexseeks and the fourth indexseek then fired the record Validation rule on my table. If you have any idea on how to get this not to occur please let me know.

Lauire,
Any time you move off the record it would fire. You should be doing something between indexseeks (assuming lMovepointer = .f.) that moves the pointer.
Simple workaround might be to use SQL select into array instead of seek if applicable.
