I might be wrong, but it seems it is SET TALK.
For remote query by SQLExec() or remote view - no way, but you can display a window by SET ESCAPE ON (though it is not a progress), and progress of query could be seen in the status bar (SET STATUS BAR ON) as records are added to record set (_VFP.AutoYield should be also .T. for this, probably)
