Like Fred, I manually check in and out. Check 'em out, work on 'em at home, check in when I get into the office. There are usually on a few files I'm going to be modifying, so I just check out what I need and leave the rest.

I don't see why this wouldn't work with the VFP integration. It shouldn't care whether you're connected to the database or not. But I don't use it that way, so what do I know?
