I would like to see things go one step further and allow a filesystem-level lock on the file so nothing can open it if you have it open. Something like UseOSExclusive(). I have run into a problem where I have a table open exclusively "for me" but other people are still messing with the table since other environments don't respect VFP's header locking mechanism for exclusivity.
