We just went through a major evaluation of frameworks. One of the things that stands out is the each seems to target a broad 'common area' like 1-M forms, editing, etc. And then specialize in one or more specifics, such as N-tier, security, SQL Server integration, etc. While they all seem to have some functionality in this regard, they are not all equal. Bottom line is, to evaluate a framework, you have to decide what features your organization most needs to find the best match. Likely all of them will do the job, but some will do better than others.
>I am interested in information on third-party frameworks along with their strengths and weaknesses. Anyone who would care to share their knowledge/opinions, I would be quite interested.
