Installation, Setup and Configuration
Hi Sergey,
It turns out that ZipMagic was causing the problem. I turned that off and rebooted, and then had no problems with the installation. Since I had no problems with ZipMagic in the past, I'm thinking that my virus protector is confusing any installing Zip folders as viruses. The only thing I've recently updated is my virus protector. In any case, I will just turn off ZipMagic before running installations in the future.
Thanks for your help!
Dave

>>Hello everyone,

>>I'm having a problem when I try to rerun my VFP 6.0 installation. For some reason, I receive the following message: "Setup Could Not Open The File M:\VFP98\TOOLS\XSOURCE\XSOURCE.ZIP" I receive the same message for "M:\VFP98\TOOLS\XSOURCE\SOLNHLP.ZIP". M is my CD-ROM drive. I was presented with the option to either abort, retry, or ignore. Well, retry did nothing, so I was forced to select ignore.

>>I don't recall having this problem when I initially installed VFP nor later on when I performed reruns of the installation (to add components or restore settings). I deleted the XSource folder to my recycle bin, to see if VFP would reinstall it, but it did not.
