DUN from W98 machine to W2K machine err 629

Hi,

There could be several reasons for error 629. I had a hell of a time getting W2K to dial it a Win98 box. I found out that NetBEUI MUST be one of the protocols assigned to the connection on the W2K box in addition to TCP/IP for the connection to work at all. Try some of the suggestions at these links:
