Yeah, Fox freaks a little when you try to open a PJX that can't find the VSS database. You can OK past the error every time with no lasting problems. I was hoping there would be a slam dunk like: "Detach the project, slam it on the laptop, bring it in the next day and add it back to sourcesafe." (That sample scenario doesn't work by the way.)

The issue here is the PJM file. It doesn't stay current if the developer off-site makes any PJX changes. I'll continue looking into this and post a process if I can figure something out. We've got a 10 man Fox team and we use integration exclusively (at the developer level) to access our projects. We haven't had any problems since the last service pack.
