Are you sure it ever worked with a different name ???
As far as I can see you're creating the same (or similar) tablename with 2 different extensions and both has memo. What would fpt named for log if you don't do that explicitly ?
If insetad of LOG you use an known extension like FRX, VCX, SCX then VFP would know how to name it memo file.
