Kevin -- just a warning, which I give to lots of people moving into VB from VFP (and vice-versa, in fact). Often, there is not a one-to-one comparison for given commands. Just because you cannot find an exact corresponding VB command for "AddProperty," or whatever, does not mean that you can't accomplish your task. So it is often worth taking a step backward from the detail... in other words, don't necessarily ask "how can I add new properties at run time" but rather ask "how can I store dynamic data at run-time." Know what I mean?

Or, to use a VB-->VFP example, I had someone argue with me once that since VFP 6 had no IMPLEMENTS keyword, there was no way to inherit interfaces. He was serious -- and that seems silly to us, of course. But I have heard just as many silly comments the other direction.

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts. - Bertrand Russell
