Hi,

One of my customers has a problem with the processing time on an accounting application.

The application is written in VFP6.0 and is installed as a client/server.

What is supposed to happen is the application is installed onto the server and the user is then asked if they would like to install the client version onto the workstation.

The network is up-to-date:
Server (1)
P3 866
738Mb RAM
18Gb SCSI HD

WorkStations (8)
P3 866
128Mb RAM (7)
256Mb RAM (1)
20Gb HD

Could anyone tell me if 7 of the workstations application shortcut is pointing to the server .exe file and 1 of the workstations is pointing to the client version (which is inatalled onto their local drive) could this have an effect on the processing speed of the application.
