The cause of C0000005 is often some unresolved issue within VFP itself, it seems to me. Some error condition not treated adequately. Many causes of C0000005 are resolved in VFP6, SP3. Which version and SP do you have? You can download the latest SP (for VFP6, the latest version is SP5) from
