In one of my programs I ping other servers with help of mswinsck (CREA "mswinsock.winsock" etc.). It works perfect on my machine (W2K and another Win98).
According to redist.txt one is allowed to distribute this ocx. I did install it with "regsvr32 mswinsck.ocx" on the target machine (NT40 Server SP6). According to regsvr32, installation is fine. As soon as I use this function in my program, there is an error "appropriate licencse file not found".
I'm stuck. There is no mswinsck.lic file around and one should not need this by using the ocx in a EXE.
Any ideas what I missed out? Thanks for any suggestion.
