This is in .NET and it seems it was just the Wrox sample code which was smathered with comments that was causing it with invisible data I'm sure.

>I suggest that you check for viruses, re-install the latest VB SP (5). Before doing this you should try to open your code module (form, class, standard module, ... or anything else) in a simple editor (like Notepad - my favorite!!!) to see if there are some ugly characters surrounding the evil lines.
