If the non-memo fields are blank on page 2, maybe marking the report fields to 'REMOVE IF BLANK' would stop the problem. If the non-memo fields are not blank-maybe they should be.

It's a field in my cursor, and I actually call it "listorder", since Mr. T. A. Bureaucrat called it that when he taught me the trick. When you suggest making the report fields "REMOVE IF BLANK", I suppose you mean "Remove line if blank", which is the option I see in there (I have VFP3). That option always seemed nearly useless to me. Typically, your line will have a label in it, and will never be blank. I could concatenate the label into the expression of the field box, but I don't want to remove blank lines on page one anyway. Also, I use non-proportional Courier font for the labels, so that they line up better, and use Arial, which looks nicer, for the fields.
