Thank you for the Link...already I am getting confussed as they start getting into SBT, and pass through. I have never done any real SQL language before.....and yes from the other night I undrstand you cant use VFP commands that you can use in an SQL select statment in VFP ie, there is no logic field in SQL tables , which was brought up the other night.

what I am looking for is how can I move a copy of SQL tables from an SQL 7 server to my home PC with out having to install (and get another licence) to my pc, and start to gather data from the tables using VFP.
