If you're on a Win98 or WinNT machine and running the program from the command prompt; the filename is the same as the computer name. In Win2k, you can specify the filename as part of the switch.

Thanks, Doug. I had tried WINMSD ? for help which didn't work.
I've been playing with it on a WIN2K machine for a few minutes. One thing that I found quite confusing is that the REPORT file is not complete for about a minute after the next command line prompt shows up. I thought I was doing something wrong.
Also I have not been able to make any of the category switches work. I've tried things like:
WINMSD /REPORT INFO.TXT /CATEGORIES DMA
WINMSD /REPORT INFO.TXT /CATEGORIES + DMA
and
WINMSD /REPORT INFO.TXT /CATEGORY [DMA]
I either get the full report (292,526 bytes or so) or just a heading line.
