>You can verify that the menu designer 'knows' which menu bars have PICTRES images by reviewing the Options 'panel' for any of the 'Quick Menu' generated menu bars because the menu designer will only pre-select the PICTRES option for menu bars with associated pictures. Unfortunately, this knowledge is not taken account when a menu is generated, because the menu generator generates a PICTRES clause for every MNX record with a non-empty Resname field value.

Other than "create the list yourself", no. The Pictres clause actually lists only system menu names, and it seems that any picture resourcese which may be associated with them are buried somewhere deep in the innards of VFP. This may be good - if in any newer version, update, SP or whatever we get newer versions of pictures, or more pictures than we had, the .mpr files wouldn't have to be recreated; calling these resources by name will simply bring any pictures they may currently have.
But then, yes, there's no way to know which ones do have pictures, other than trying the menu out.
