I don't now anything about FaxServe but I would :

1. Check FaxServe options, in particular conversion options, if there're any, for default font fot text files.

2. See if FaxServe allows to include some formating directives into text file you send as a FAX.

3. Consider some other format for your reports (PDF maybe) that FaxServe can recognize.
