Thanks for responding. Actually, I am on my development machine, stand alone, so there is not a network involved at this point. I did try the NOFILTER for each cursor, but it did not make a difference. Actually, I put a test 'browse' command in after each temporary cursor was created, so I could track the process. All the temporary cursors held the data that I expected. It was only the last part, where I did a final SQL-SELECT to de-normalize all the temporary cursors into a physical table that the table came up empty. Again, this only happens on a new record. Once the form is closed and reopened, then I can print all the reports I want. I appreciate the suggestion, though.
