The server is Windows 2000 and the workstations are Windows 98SE.
The scenario is:
There are 3 people who heavily process on the system in the morning at branch 1.
There are 6 workstations in the same office with a further 2 about 50-60 feet away from the server in branch 1.
7 workstations from branch 1 point to the server exe file while 1 points to the client exe file.
6 workstation from the second branch dial into the server using Terminal server.
My guess is that the server is under heavy processing due to the 7 workstations and Terminal server from the 6 workstations in branch 2.
But could anyone explain if the processing speed is quite good in the morning why is it slowing down during the afternoon?
