what i do is I create an ODBC connection to the main database located on the server and via this connection, I created another dbc which contains all the remote views I need, from here, I was able to extract all the information I need, store the data on the remoteview and manipulate data by creating an alias in the load event. I have not tried creating a function for requery() yet.
