Tracy,

Our server has just been upgraded to Netware 5.1. I'll be beginning to use Windows XP in the office soon. Then I'll have a better feel for the amount of crashes and where to look for reasons behind them, including checking up on the support packs our network folks implement.

Thanks for the suggestion.

>Cindy, don't know if this helps or not, but in my previous job I was both a developer and the system administrator for a Novell 4.x/5.x LAN/WAN and I used Windows 2000 as my OS on my workstation since it came out. I never had a crash, which is amazing since you wouldn't believe everything I was running on it to manage all of those servers on the WAN! However, being the network manager, I was also responsible for implementing all of the Novell support packs and I kept them up-to-date as well as all of the relative patches for the apps I used for management on the different Novell versions.
