Most probably the network is timing out on your workstations, closing tables. Could be anything - from bad network cards (working fine most of the time), slightly loose cables, or just network congestion colliding with server settings which were optimized for something else, not databases. Any such abrupt closing of the file, with unflushed buffers etc, may lead to index corruption, which is, from what I know, the most common cause of the ISO error.
