still no luck...the exact code from my module are:

Dim mtxt2 as Date
mtxt2 = Date

DoCmd.RunSQL ("insert into labels (fld1, fld2, DATE) values (" & mtxt0 & ", '" & mtxt1 & "', #" & CStr(mtxt2) & "#)")

[labels].[date] is type: Date/Time
