Get to each session early so you can get a seat up front. They generally don't allow flash or movie cameras (digital?) so use a tape recorder to get what is being said.

Ask plenty of questions.
Snatch every handout you can.
Get email addresses of everyone and/or company envolved.

For the hypochondriacs:
Take along a couple sets of latex gloves and 3-M face masks.
A 0.5% solution of household bleach will kill Anthrax spores, and all other biological organisms, will deactivate organophosphate nerve gases, but don't use it on your skin because it will cause cracking and create avenues of infection. Use 3% Hyrdogen Peroxide for use on your skin.
