I am trying to gain control over the printer for the purpose of cheque printing on a laser ( probably an HP or compatible ) . I have been unable to control _plineno through the report writer and so I have had to resort to hand coding the report. This is less than attractive for although I have the cheques sort of printing properly, I am getting some escape codes printing as well. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate your help.
