I'm using a Generic\Text only printer driver on a particular print because of the speed advantage.
I need to shift to an 8 lines per inch format instead of 6.
My documentation says I can send the printer an ascii code for ESC 0 and it will go to 8 lines per inch.
I send ? chr(27)+chr(48)
Instead of printing 8 lines per inch it prints a graphic character and a period.
Any clue as to how I can accomplish my goal.
I can't switch to the standard Windows 98 driver because it tries to print back and forth, multiple passes per line and
since the report is approximately 2500 pages, it is much too slow.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
