Hi everybody,

We have been able to shrink the size of a data file (.MDF)with the 'shrink database' utility in SQL Server manager, but we still can't reduce the physical size of the log file (.LDF); even when we select the specific file in this utility while trying all the possible options combination. We know how to restrict the file growth, but for existing files wich are already too large, we can't do anything. Anyone has an idea?
