Sergey
Sheesh.
A number of people here discussed using NULL in logical fields. My post was an attempt to ensure the upsizing issues were considered. I'm not sure why you took that as some sort of accusation. I believe it is normal to "reply" to the most recent relevant post in these threads. Yours was the most recent post discussing how to implement NULL in logical fields so I replied to you.
Of course you can upsize to tinyint, but if you have used logical fields with NULLs in your local tables you will have to rewrite any part of your application that handles NULLs and logical fields- eg
IF NVL(mytable.myfield,.f.) then...
If you use RVs it is easier, which is something I am perfectly happy to discuss.
>>Sorry, but I don't undarstand what your whole post's about.
Not sure how else to say it, Sergey.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
