This is just my 2 cents, but what if you create your report from VB into a Crystal Designer. So this way, the report file will be part of the executable.
Just start by putting a "Blank Report" in your project. And, at runtime, set
the datasource of your report to your recordset that you've just populate from your grid.
I don't know how to change the datasource of a report at run-time, but this should be listed on support.crystaldecisions.com.
