I guess what I need to ask is how I can do this. I can make Crystal work as long as it points to a .RPT file (which in turn points to an actual database file) but to create everything virtually within the program, I don't know how.

I can create and populate the database, but I don't know how to get the Crystal to "see" the data by directly accessing the recordset. I'm not even sure which Crystal controls to use, which is probably my biggest problem. Haven't been able to find a good example of this other than obscure references.
