Thanks ! Searching on killit and foxpro (via Yahoo search) found the utility at http://www.jjtc.com/Fox/foxfiles/#K

Haven't tried it yet, but did find some other UT messages when I searched on killit that suggest it had worked well for them. They were in the process of moving apps to VFP 5 and looking for a replacement to killit, because it had worked so well.
