I believe the mapping should be something like this:

If the sign of the field is positive:
A=1
B=2
C=3
D=4
E=5
F=6
G=7
H=8
I=9
{=0

If the sign of the field is negative:
J=1
K=2
L=3
M=4
N=5
O=6
P=7
Q=8
R=9
}=0
