In my attempt to save my company Money, and being a beta tester of Star office, I was looking arround today, and found the OpenOffice.org web site.

Tried it, Same thing as Star Office 6.0 expect its not a demo, and it has no database installed by default.

Star office has not put out a price (if any) for the version 6.0 But I did find out that its due to expire on 3-31-2002

Open Office, is the source for most of what Star Office is. It has the spellchecker now. Email still doenst work yet.

But all in all, Until SO 6.0 gives out a price, I think OpenOffice is the way to go. They also have removed the Desktop option like SO did in the beta release.
