>I just installed VFP 7 on my computer where I was previously using VFP 6. I assume that in order to bring over my application, I should rebuild the project in VFP 7 with the "recompile all files" option checked. I tried this, but it keeps freezing and I don't know why. How can I figure out what is going wrong? Am I doing the right thing?

Well yes, that's what you should be doing. There's no general rule to this, and I saw this in all the previous versions of the project manager, regardless of the project being brought from the previous version or not. It seems to get stuck with one file somewhere. You may try to see which is the last file being compiled before it gets stuck, then open the project and wee which file is next. Edit both files (add a blank line somewhere) so they'd be changed in the editor in the current version, and then recompile. Helps most of the time.

Other general tip would be to open the .pjx and
blank all field object
then close and recompile. This eliminates the results of any previous compilation.
