lockscreen didn't do too much better but, hey, I overlooked the
obvious...the 'ol ACTI WIND NOSHOW, build screen and, ACTI
WIND SHOW ploy.

I'll try pulling the SHOW() properties out of the logo box
until the screen is completely built, then execute the show()
just before my read events (my logo object is public).
